Sir Nick came to us as a tiny orphan kitten with a severe injury to his front paw. We aren't sure what happened, maybe he got caught in an engine or was injured by another animal.  We initially thought we would have to have it amputated, but a vet assessment showed bloodflow to the loose part. So we waited and we are glad we did. Nicks foot continued to grow and he can use it to run and jump. He does walk with a bit of a limp, so we took more xrays and found that his bones in the loose part are not attached. After assessing, our vet decided that it would be best to just leave it. He did however feel that there was a problem with Nick's hip. Xrays showed that his femoral head was gone and the socket was smoothed out.  He's doing fine and there is nothing we need to do at this point.  So sweet Nick is ready to find a Forever Home!
